She then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and graduated Suma Cum Laude earning her master's degree in physician assistant studies with honors. She graduated at the top of her class and received Pi Alpha Honor Society Membership Award. Asma is multilingual invested in serving a diverse community and takes pride in educating patients about their illness thoroughly.
