Huy Lam is a board-certified physician assistant who works alongside Dr. Qadir at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in The Woodlands, TX.
After emigrating from Vietnam at a young age, Huy has been calling The Woodlands home for most of his life. As a local to the area, he attended The Woodlands College Park High School and graduated Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. He then completed his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Barry University in Miami, FL, where he acquired experience and knowledge in both orthopedic sports medicine and surgical skills.
As someone who has previously suffered a sports injury, he understands the perspective of being a patient and a provider and is focused on providing patient-centered care, with an emphasis on educating patients about their injuries.
