Neel Pancholi, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. Dr. Pancholi’s practice includes general orthopedics, minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, total joint replacement, and fracture care. He offers comprehensive patient care at The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in Conroe, Texas.
Dr. Pancholi graduated Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Pancholi then completed his Orthopedic Residency at SUNY Downstate in New York and received sub-specialty training in sports medicine at his fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston.
While at UT, Dr. Pancholi worked with athletes of all ages and served as assistant to the team physician of the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo, and the University of Houston Cougars. He has also served as a team physician at several high schools.
Following training, Dr. Pancholi worked as an attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Northwestern Medicine and later as medical director of NM South Region Orthopedics before returning to Houston to join The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre.
Dr. Pancholi provides individualized care by taking a deep interest in each of his patients. He believes in taking the time to properly explain a patient’s diagnosis to ensure they leave the office comfortable and fully understanding the treatment plan. Dr. Pancholi is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic.
