I will be forever grateful to Dr. Piefer for ending my left hip pain. On 5/6, he performed a THR on my left hip. I woke up in recovery with zero hip pain & was waking immediately after surgery without pain. Several of my friends who are nurses recommended him & said he was best orthopedic surgeon in The Woodlands. Three months post-op I am walking without a limp, no pain & enjoying life again. Thank you Dr Piefer, Taylor, Chris, Garrett & his fabulous X-ray & front office staff for your support, kindness & excellent care

The office staff was very prompt and friendly; unfortunately, Dr. Shatby seemed to lack empathy. It shocked me when he addressed an employee in a belittling way. After several visits, I decided to seek a second opinion concerning a Jones fracture. I would highly recommend an amazing doctor-Dr. Michael Greaser with UT Physicians.

This man completely lacks anything resembling empathy. He literally is screwing over family and making them homeless after they took care of his dying father in PA while he was playing Dr and rancher in TX. What was he doing while his father was laying dying you ask? Watching a motorcycle race in the next room completely self-absorbed. This man purposefully pretends to be a robot without emotion. He is one of the most irrational Doctors I have ever met and I would fully question his credibility. I would never let such a person cut into me. You are nothing more than $ to him that's why he is practicing in a rich part of Texas. Man is a complete joke of a human being, this is coming from 'family'.

I didn’t have to wait very long. PAs and receptionist were respectful and efficient. The doctor explained procedures and answered questions politely. I would recommend this doctor to others.

The office staff doesn’t know what they are doing. I was charged for the office visit when I first got there. And then again as I was leaving.
I hate being charged twice for the same thing.

The office and staff were quick and efficient. The Dr was confident in his assessment and directions given for the visit. The parking however is notorious. There was no parking and you go round and round looking for a place to park because the street is full with cars parking out there and then you have a problem exiting because it’s narrowed to one lane.
